Our Mission
Qurator was created in 2024 by Hawaiʻi Tourism Authority as a way of recognizing leading businesses in Hawaiʻi in the field of responsible tourism. The unique culture and environment of the state made it necessary to acknowledge both small and large companies, contributing as they are able. This includes treating residents, employees, and visitors respectfully, as well as protecting the environment and preserving Hawaiʻi’s cultural practices.
Our Vision
Qurator aims to offer 360 degree education, helping us all learn from each other. We want the industry to learn the hopes and expectations of our community and guests. We want the community to learn about the positives that the visitor industry can offer, and provide a channel for their voices to be heard. We want guests to be able to find and support businesses which match their values.
